Thanks to the manager of Excite Gym and fellow Rotary member Julie Hutchens of the Highland Village RC, we have over 50 backpacks to fill with personal items to give to Salvation Army clients in need of such items as;  fall/winter weather gear:  Caps, Gloves, Scarves, Finger and Toe Nail Clippers, Dental hygiene items, Hair brushes and combs. Handy wipes/Hand sanitizer, Tissue, Socks, Small Blanket, Crackers, Candy Bars, Cookies, Nuts, Deodorant, Band-Aids. All donated items are new items.

Those wishing to participate, can pick-up a back pack and list of needed items from Lewisville Morning Rotary member and owner of Kwik Kar Vista Ridge Automotive Repair Shop at 2788 MacArthur Blvd, Lewisville, TX 75067. Return the back pack to Kwik Kar Vista Ridge filled with as many of the needed items as you wish to donate by September 20th. Members of the Lewisville Morning Rotary Club will deliver the filled backpacks to the Salvation Army facility at Main and Charles.

If you can not make it to Kwik Kar Vista Ridge, Lewisville Morning Rotary members John and Marilyn Pokorny will deliver the empty backpack to your home or office and pick it up when filled. Please contact them at pokornyja@gmail.com if you need them to deliver and/or pick-up a backpack.
