Through our bike awards, we have encouraged the children at Central ES
to seek perfect attendance for almost 20 years. This year we recognized
Perfect Attendance and Perfect Engagement as at-home learners
Normally, at the end of the school year we award bikes to one boy and one girl in each grade whose name was drawn out of a 6 hats filled with the names of students that achieved perfect attendance. This year as a result of Covid 19 we awarded bikes to 6 students (one from K to 5th grade) that had perfect attendance for the school year until Covid 19 caused schools to be closed. And, we awarded 6 bikes to students (one from K to 5th grade) that were selected by their teachers as "Outstanding at-home learners". We call them Perfect At-home Learners. Congratulations to all.
